Mini Reviews: Books I DNF-ed

I am hoping that this is a series I won't have to use all that often but I wanted to post up some of the books that I have DNF-ed in the past few months, this includes audiobooks as well as physical, and ebooks.

Instant Karma by Marissa Meyer

Quick Thoughts:

I received this book in exchange for an honest review which has not altered my opinion of this book. I would like to thank the publisher and NetGalley for the advance copy. Unfortunately, this book did not vibe with me at all. I really wanted to like it especially after her Lunar Chronicles series, but this one just didn't work for me unfortunately.

The Woman Who Came Back to Life by Beth Miller

I enjoyed the idea behind this book but unfortunately it just did not come together quick enough for me to really find myself invested in this book at all. I didn't feel like I was able to connect with the main character and due to that I didn't end up finishing this story.

Wolves and Roses by Christina Bauer

Quick Thoughts:

I have found that I am hit and miss with Christina Bauer's writing and while some of her reimagining's have caught my attention, this one just didn't do it for me. I found the main character to be annoying and not in a redeeming way.

Bluff by Jane Stanton Hitchcock

I give this book two chances actually. The first time was when I first received it and found that it was more of an adult book than I was looking for at the time, so I put it to the side. Then I picked it up again recently (as I've been reading nearly all adult books) and it just didn't catch my interest. I have heard a lot of good things from others and I believe it won an award, however it just was not one for me at all. I gave it 50 pages to draw me in but I didn't get the mystery I was hoping for. I think it's a great idea for a book but unfortunately this book is just not for me.
